Have some old 1/2" eight tracks or 1" 16
track tapes you'd like to preserve or re-mix? How
about some priceless old 1/4" master tapes laying
around in your basement?
Most old Scotch and Ampex tapes need to be baked
before being played because over time they absorb
moisture and become "sticky". I can provide
the baking service as well as transfer to digital
format. If you want to, you could then mix or manipulate
the tracks with Pro Tools. All the files would end
up on CD or DVD for archiving.
